On the 26th March the World Half Marathon graced Cardiff with its presence, and in return Cardiff graced the event with its rain. Despite this, there wasn’t a sad face to be seen anywhere, as the brave runners braced the harsh conditions and locals embraced the carnival atmosphere.
Chapel 1877 were proud to offer all runners a 20% discount off food and a free drink with their medal. We also managed to convince friends to run in our branded running tops, provided on incredibly short notice by My Company Promotions.
On top of that Marketing Manager Jack got to live out a life long dream and dress as a storm trooper, accompanied by a pun-tastic banner thought up by George from the events and marketing team.
It was also great to see us popping up all over Twitter.
